The Hope-Givers Foundation:
The Laws of God
I want to give you a starting
point, a Hope-Givers Foundation of principles and laws to apply
regardless of your profession or business. I believe that God set up
certain Laws of Creation that operate continually around us. If you
work in harmony with them, you receive the benefits. If you work at
cross purposes with them, you may succeed for a while but sooner or
later it will catch up with you. It’s like working against the
Law of Gravity, sooner or later it catches up to you.
The scriptures say that God gives “Riches and Honor”. When
we operate life’s principles the right way, we get riches and
honor. People really don’t understand the devastation that is
going on in their lives when laws and principles are broken. They count
it as bad luck or just the way life is, but in Proverbs 10:22 it says,
“The blessing of the Lord it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it,” this is God’s design.
Law of Permission
While it may seem strange to start
with something called “The Law of Permission” let me assure
you that this is where you must start as a Hope-Giver or you will waste
valuable time. The reason for this is that the scriptures talk about
the mind and the heart being two separate entities, but working
together. Not understanding this concept will result in wasted time and
effort as you spend years fighting against yourself and not even know
it.
For a more complete presentation on this topic go to:

listen to Session 1 – “The Fortress of Your Mind”
from my class on “The 6 Pillars of the Prosperous Mind” and
you will receive the whole story on exactly how this works.
The Law of Permission says that the mind and the heart must be in
harmony in order to truly accomplish anything in life. You see, the mind
is where our free will thoughts originate. With the mind we can
originate thought, change thoughts, evaluate, calculate and make
decisions. Our wants, wishes and desires, all start with the thoughts
in our mind.
This is where people hold their affirmations and that’s a good
thing, it’s always a good thing to think positively. But
that’s only the beginning. Here is the problem; any thought in
the mind MUST be in harmony with the core beliefs stored in the heart
before we will give it permission to become a reality in our lives.
Core beliefs are those beliefs that we have accepted as true above all
else and they govern all decisions that we make (see session 1 of
“The Six Pillars” class listed above)
Proverbs 4:23 says “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
Core beliefs are built in our hearts and they become the rudders of our
lives. No matter how much we desire to sail out into the open sea, if
our core beliefs are not in harmony with that vision, they will steer
us to the rocky shoals every time.
I constantly hear people say, “I wanted this so badly and I
really worked hard to get it, why didn’t it happen?” Most
of the time it isn’t outside influences that caused the ship
wreck, it was their own internal belief which never gave them
permission to succeed no matter how much they thought (in the mind)
they could have it.
Once you realize The Truth about the mind and the heart you must ask yourself:
1. How did these core beliefs get there
2. How can I change my core beliefs to work for me
I would again refer you to the first session of my class, “The 6
Pillars of the Prosperous Mind” which is open to the public to
listen to at: http://www.EmbraceorErase.com under “Start”
on the navigation bar. To explain it all here would double the size of
this report and that’s not necessary because the information is
already on the site. So the first step for a Hope-Giver is to make sure
that the mind and the heart are in harmony on all areas of life so you
will have permission to move ahead.
One of the most amazing realizations people have while in my coaching
group, is when they finally give themselves permission to prosper. They
have the same jobs, the same life but everything starts working for
them rather than against them.
One of the greatest discoveries you can make in life is to honestly
identify your core beliefs and change the ones that no longer benefit
you. Once you do this, your life will never be the same. How do you do
this? II Corinthians 13:5 says, “Examine yourselves whether you
be in the faith…”
The word “examine” means “to pierce to see what is on
the inside”. And the word “faith” means “the
right way of believing”. So we are to look inside, deep inside to
the heart and see what is there and determine if it is the right way of
believing. If not, we then go about changing those beliefs by first
letting them go and replacing them with a new belief. Check out the
free material on my wife’s site http://www.EmbraceorErase.com and
you will understand this process very quickly.
Hope-Mongers know by experience that most people sabotage themselves
because of their conflicting beliefs. A Hope-Giver who understands this
law will not only use it to help themselves but will share it with
other Hope-Seekers so they too can rid themselves of damaging core
beliefs and give themselves permission to succeed.
