This is our final session to see what happened from the moment Christ died until he was received up into heaven AND what happened next. I hope you have enjoyed the series and will tell others about it.

What actually happened during the last 6 hours before our lord and savior died? Don’t listen to this unless you are willing to change some religious tradition for scriptural truth–you’ve been warned. But if you really want to know what happened from 9 AM in the morning of his death until sometime after 3 PM when Jesus declared “It is finished!” then have a listen.

God’s best to you,
Duke Clarke

Tonight we continue on in the series and I want to show you three events that most people call contradictions in the scriptures. I don’t believe there are contradictions and I’ll show you tonight that these are separate events on separate days all leading up to the sacrifice of the passover lamb –Jesus Christ.

During this time of the year that we refer to as Easter, why has no one (or at least very few) ever asked the question, “How does anyone get 3 days and 3 nights out of Good Friday afternoon to early Sunday morning?”

The scriptures clearly say that just as Jonas was in the belly of the whale 3 days and 3 nights so shall the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth for 3 days and 3 nights– Matthew 12:40

It doesn’t say two nights and one day, it says three days and three nights. Now I know most people don’t put much importance in the details of the scriptures, but I do. There has to be answer and if you care to know like I did, listen to this first podcast of a series on the Last Week of Christ’s Life.

If you don’t think it matters and you are happy with your traditions, just consider, if you’ve accepted the Friday to Sunday being 3 days and 3 nights what else have you accepted that isn’t true about your Christian faith?

Hope you will enjoy the series and will comment.

God’s best to you,
Duke Clarke
