Tonight is a combination rant/education/thought-provoking session. Why is it that man thinks he can perfect what God has done by adding religions activities? Christ said that to love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength and to love your neighbor as your self was the greatest commandment of all. So we is it that we think we need to add all kinds of religious details to make it better?

You can listen to my answers/rant by clicking below.

For many years the Law of Attraction (LOA) buzzed in the under current of New Age Practitioners and the like. Then “The Secret” came out and it went more main stream, in fact, some started preaching it in churches and using Biblical definitions to describe it.

A lot of the talk about it made sense to me. I could see some of the principles working and I understood the Biblical concept of the Law of Like Kind from the creation in Genesis-everything after it’s own kind. But beyond that one Biblical tie-in, I had a hard time putting it all together, especially when it seems to lead to the individual becoming the center of all things and basically becoming the creator of all good things in their own lives.

Then there is the talk about vibrating on a certain level and increasing your vibration to attract all you want. That led to the concept of being a magnet, which is kind of confusing because a magnet attracts the opposite pole of what it is-a positive attracts a negative while two positives (the same thing) repel each other. Along with the fact that a magnet only attracts metal it has no affect on glass or wood, so the analogy started to break down quickly. It sounds good to think of yourself as a magnet, but then once again are you just becoming your own god, bringing the universe to you at will?

I know some of these things work because I’ve done it myself, but maybe the problem has been how we explain or define what we have seen so I started to look at it from a different perspective.

I started teaching a new concept called “The Law of Harmony” to my coaching group at the first of May and now I’d like to share some of the highlights with you. I don’t know how long this series will be but you can always go back and review right here on this blog just look for “The Law of Harmony” entries.

These will be relatively short and to the point so you can follow it easily and think about each point one by one. I’d be happy to hear back from you as well, you can comment right on the blog page.

My wife actually came up with the name from a verse in the Gospel of Matthew.

Matthew 18:19:
“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”

The word “agree” is the Greek word “Sumphoneo” which means to harmonize. It’s the basis of our word “symphony”. It literally means “blended voices, or voices that harmonize”-“sum” meaning “together with” and “phoneo” meaning “voice”. So what are you going to harmonize your voice with? And by voice I mean what is your heart, mind and mouth going to agree with? This is the beginning. When we are out of sync with the world around us or with people we are working with or even with our own thoughts and beliefs we have nothing but problems. Line it all up like it is supposed to be and life starts to flow. So that’s where we are going to start-being of one mind, one heart, one voice with the Laws of the Universe which is what we are going to talk about from here on out.

Have a great weekend,
Duke Clarke

Vision without Action is a daydream
Action without Desire is a waste of time
Desire without Love is short-lived

I hope you enjoy this presentation. God’s best to you,

Last week I did a session on “Living on the Edge Without Falling Off” talking about Jeremiah. This week I want to continue with that theme and talking about prayer.

Prayer is the language of God. Prayer reveals the heart of man and touches the heart of God. Prayer is the conversation of love with our Creator. Prayer is father and son/daughter bonding. Prayer is the vision before it’s reality. Prayer is the connection between spirit and flesh. Prayer is the honor, praise and respect we give to the Creator of all things.

Daredevils may go to the edge without God, but not me.
Fools may go to the edge without God, but not me.
Egotist may go to the edge without God, but not me.

Tonight I want to show you a man that went to the edge with God in prayer.

God’s best to you,
Duke

I know this is a odd title, but when you listen to this podcast you will see that Jeremiah was willing to look like a “fool for God” and willing to “live on the edge” of life in order to do what God wanted him to do.

I think you will like it, not that we need to model our lives after Jeremiah because he served a certain purpose for a certain time, but the heart of “living on the edge” is something we could all try from time to time.

Be sure to leave your comments by clicking on the title and adding your remarks and come back every Thursday night live, the phone number is 646-519-5860 and the pin # is 5858 at 8 PM EDT USA. It’s open to everyone so invite your friends and enemies…

God’s best to you,
Duke Clarke
