Many weeks ago I shared on Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. One of my listeners had the point of view that what I shared was not “scriptural” so I addressed his comments here in this session. See which view you think is best.

After listening to your comments about my comments a few things struck me.
First, what I wrote, how you responded, and what I meant are three entirely different things.
I can assure you that I had no malice intention. I was pointing out something I personally found ironic but because I did not present my position with diligence the message got misconstrued and you leapt to some conclusions about me that are not true.
But that truly is besides the point. What’s important here is we had an albeit brief dialogue about my opinion on your use of something that came out of another document that I find to be, in the very least, debatable as a tenet of Christianity.
But as human beings I’m quite sure we can learn a great deal from each other.
I can assure you that my life and my thinking are not the cause of why Christianity is dead or dying. I believe the bible and in Jesus. I also believe in the dark forces of evil that interrupts many Christian lives. Of all the innumerable ways I can be identified - I hold my head high to say I’m a Christian.
I’m not sure anyone can gleam something from our dialogue (HA!) but hopefully you see that my intention and result were on different paths.
I wish you the best in all your endeavors!
Your dear friend and brother in Christ,
Chris Giarratano
